Log4OM v2 - Installation Questions

Hello,

I planned to install Log4OM v2 early this year, unfortunately serious health issues curtailed my radio activities until now.

1. You do not need to install as administrator, but you need to "Run As Admin" if you want it to work with "Other" programs, like WSJT-X / GridTracker?

2. OmniRig, Do you need to "Run As Admin" also.?

3. I have a number of adif files from LoTW, QRZ.COM, eQSL, HRD, CLubLog.
Is there anyway, tools to ensure no duplicates before importing into LOg4OM
(Had a PC/Backup drive issue, so I needed to extract adif's from various locations)

Providing the imported Qso's have a unique call sign, date, time, band and mode it should not be possible to import dupes.

However there are some programs that save the QSO end time as the QSO time, not the start time and that could result in dupes. To overcome this situation we provide a setting in the import window to not accept Qso's that are within n minutes of an existing QSO time, this is a user selection of minutes margins +/-.

In the configuration screen "CAT Interface Screen"
There is CAT Engine, with a Drop down with "OmniRig" choice and a "Tick Box" [X] Auto Start CAT

If you use this option, If you then start Log4OM as Admin, will that Launch OmniRig as Admin also.??

Should do but not always due to external software so best to run Omnirig elevated also

since weeks fighting with setup ( V2 ) and still Cannot persuade CAT to work .
system on W10 , rig K3 and Omnirig ( hamrig same problem )

What exactly is your problem I have a K3 using Omnirig and Log4OM working perfectly under Windows 10!
