Startup and Backup Error - "database disk image is malformed"

Post by KD0Q »

Hello,

Hoping someone can help me fix this.

Backup is failing with: "Backup Error. Check log." The log shows there is also an error at startup having to do with calculating statistics.

OS = Windows 10 Pro build 19041.804
Log4OM 2 Version 2.11.0.0

Log attached.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks, Glenn KD0Q

You could have a corrupted database, try making a new database and import your last ADIF backup

I notice that you have the database on the C drive of your PC, try creating it in the documents folder or on the cloud

Thanks Terry.

I'll try rebuilding from last good backup.

The database needs to be local due to unreliable internet. Can create it in local documents folder.

Backups are working now.

Here's what I did:

1. Exported QSOs after the last good backup to an ADIF file.
2. Rebuilt the database from the last good backup.
3. Imported the QSOs from Step 1.

Thanks for the help.
