Hello
I would like that when I do a QSO via JTDX in FT4 mode the mode displayed in Log4om is MFSK and the submode is FT4
While in FT8 it is times FT8 in mode and no submode
I tried looking at the modelist.csv file but i didn't figure out what to do exactly
//Log4OM Mode I understood that is the mode into my logbook and what is the
2.X MODE
3.x MODE
3.x SUBMODE ?
currently when I add a QSO in mode = FT4 (from JTDX) and I export to ADIF, Log4OM actually exports me
<MODE:4>MFSK <SUBMODE:3>FT4
and that's fine but I would like to have this vision in my logbook
Thanks for your help

Re: FT4 - FT8
Yes Terry
I searched on the forum but I did not find the answer to my questions
I have done what DB9CR recommended in its post of 5/12/2020, i.e. add
FT4; FT4; MFSK; FT4 in the "modelist.csv" File
but it does not display correctly in the log (but it's OK when I export)
You could guide me more precisely please
Thanks

Re: FT4 - FT8
Works fine for me
Are you certain its configured like this in the Settings/resources editor?

Re: FT4 - FT8
Yes Terry I use the same configuration
but what you show is not the same presentation as me, as I said I will want to display the submode in the log, there you do not show the submode

Re: FT4 - FT8
It is the sub mode, the mode is MFSK
If you want to change the column title to sub mode you can but most people refer to it as mode!

Re: FT4 - FT8
Yes Terry
I would precisely like the mode to be MFSK and therefore automatically the Submode to be FT4
so my question is how do i modify the mode file for this to be possible?
and my Pb is how we differentiate a QSO made really in MFSK from a QSO done in FT4 ?
well that said maybe I ask myself unnecessary questions?
the export is going very well I guess that's the main thing
but the idea is therefore if I log a QSO in FT4 from JTDX I would like precisely that in my log I do not have mode = FT4 but mode = MFSK and submode = FT4
it is obviously not feasible?

Re: FT4 - FT8
If you modify in the way you request it will corrupt the ADIF export which will no longer conform to ADIF standards
This is an extract from the ADIF format found here http://adif.org.uk/311/ADIF_311.htm#QSO_Fields
If you have a QSO in MFSK then the mode will display as such see below a test MFSK QSO just added to my test log
