Missing Lat and Lon data

Hi,
I notice that only some stations are being logged with Long and Lats at the time of the QSO. However, manually highlighting the records in the QSO manager, then clicking the 'update info' button to get info from external sources that action populates the Lat and Lon field properly.
Should this be an automatic filled field at the point of logging as it seems to do some but not all?
