As you can tell we're searching for clues on your situation.
One thing I've noticed is the Log4OM ID tag is in the middle of the Main UI window on your screen shots. I've never seen that before and have included a clip from my Main UI with F7 tab selected that shows the ID label in the top left of window.
In earlier versions of Log4OM does that label appear at the top left or middle?
Can't say that relates to the other hiccups, but just seeking for more clues.

Hmmm .... on my 2.21.1.x it´s at the left as in all other versions before:

73´s .. Juergen ... ALT-512 SDR (10W) , 50 m random wire at SG-211 autotuner, 2 x Xiegu G90 (20W HF TRX) one as portable Radio. Also TS-790E (40 W) for VHF/UHF with X-50 vertical and Duoband 4-Element LPDA.
