I have it installed in a Windows XP Pro SP3 machine with all latest updates installed. I have the program set to make two 'on shut down backups', one to a second HDD and one to a USB dongle. The first backup, to the HDD gets 2 files saved, an .xml and an .adi while the second loction has just an .adi file which is actually much much smaller that the .adi on the hdd. (is this size difference normal ??? maybe this is causing the shutdown problem???? )
The only way I am able to close Log4OM is to wait an appropriate time for the backups to be written and then use Ctrl/Alt/Del to open Task Manager and then choose the Log4OM application and "End Task" and of course, doing it this way any changes I have made to screen positions / size / grid detachments etc do not get saved

Anyone any ideas on this ???
John
PS.... clearing the checkbox "Autobackup on closing" does allow the program to close correctly.
Added by way of edit......... I wanted to check whether my shut down problem was somehow tied in with the secondary backup going to a USB dongle however, I find I am unable to clear the field, so, once a backup location is entered, one must always exist.. How do I clear this field so as to disable the secondary backup ???
