Hello Terry,
Hope all is well with you and yours.
I can not generate a blue "GRA" DXCC credit granted box and the "Awards view" tab. I was able to do this easily in the past, but not sure what is going on now.
Just received my ARRL DXCC awards credits, and began recording my cards as "Validated" and checked the appropriate boxes in the "Granted" box. Then I refreshed the Awards status matrix and saw only the green "V" box. I can not seem to get the matrix to show the blue "GRA" box.
On previous Log4OM versions, not sure if I remember a "GRANTED" entry in the "Ref. Status" drop down box which has "UNCONFIRMED CONFIRMED VALIDATED INVALID." There is no "GRANTED" on my pull down menu.
By the way, the "Award filter" tab is not responsive -=- it seems frozen. The "Main view" is frozen gray, and none of the purple tabs do anything.
Also used the "Massive editor" tab and selected one call sign / QSO and attempted to "Set Granted." It did not work. I refreshed Log4OM several times and rebooted the computer a few times. No luck.
Just noticed the purple box for SUBMITTED does not show up.
What am I doing wrong? How can I record DXCC call signs / QSOs as receiving DXCC credit granted?
I record everything manually and do not do LoTW. There seems to be no way to record cards / QSOs as granted. I have not done anything out of the ordinary. The users guide was little help. It seemed to focus on LoTW stuff, which I do not use.
FYI -- Using Log4OM2 NextGen version 2.28.0.0. Using a Dell XPS 8930 running Windows 10 Pro - version 10.0.19045 Build 19045 - 64 bit w/Intel Core i7-9700 CPU @ 3 GHz.
Thanks and have a good day.

Re: DXCC Credit Granted
Danny,
I just tested setting the QSO to submitted and granted using the award status window by double clicking on the entity then selecting the QSO and editing the QSO in the edit/awards tab - followed by clicking the floppy save icon and save and apply
After a refresh I get the granted status as shown below:

Terry,
Thanks for the reply. I used your method - no-go ... no GRA.
During my troubleshooting, I tried your method plus all the other methods I have used in the past. Nothing worked. Also tested on my DXpedition HP laptop running Windows 10 ... all software updated. It did not work on that computer either. Could not generate a GRA on either computer from my Log4OM data.
I am not sure what award recording features changed in the last two years. As I said in my original message, the users guide was little help. It seemed to focus on LoTW stuff, which I do not use. I am wondering if any of the LoTW recording of awards credits affected the manual way of doing things. Just a thot - not sure but the manual seems LoTW-heavy on the matter since many folks use LoTW today.
Just checked and determined my last ARRL DXCC submission was August 2021. At that time, Log4OM was flawless and no problems with awards, i.e. GRA, etc. So, if there is a software problem, the issue may be with versions between whatever was current in August 2021 and the current version 2.28.0.0.
Thanks for your help Terry.
Best Regards,
Danny

Re: DXCC Credit Granted
The example I displayed was a QSL not lotw
Did you mark the Q as submitted and then as credited, marking as submitted is a critical step.

Terry,
One other thing that might be related. As I mentioned in my original message; the "Awards filter" seems frozen. It was accessible in July 2022 when you helped me with a related issue. Could the "Awards filter" issue be related to my problem of recording GRA for award granted. See screen shot or attachment.
Best Regards,
Danny

Re: DXCC Credit Granted
If you select a "predefined config" (eg. DIGITAL) the filters are set by default to the expected filters for the config choosen.
That's why the custom filters are locked in this situation, as you may have unexpected behaviours and conflicting parameters between the predefined one and the user choosed one.

That does not answer the main issue which is that he cannot display Granted status

Re: DXCC Credit Granted
Terry,
Thanks for investigating my issue. Just found an additional problem. Using the "Award Ref." tab, I can not log in a new QSL card as CONFIRMED. Yesterday I received a card from D60AE and tried to enter CONFIRMED into Log4OM. It did not work. Depending on how I log the QSL card ... my "Award view" shows either a green V for validated or purple SUB for submitted. By the way, that QSO properly showed a gray W as being worked in the matrix.
Related to that ... now sure if Log4OM is saving my menu selections. Sometimes I see "refreshing" [?] appear but most of the time - nothing.
Another observation ... under the Statistics tab view ... the Band and Mode Date range -- Contact data -- Additional filters all show up ok. I switched back to the "Awards status" screen and opened DXCC only. The "Award filters" tab was active - ok. However when I selected "DXCC" and then "MIXED" under "Predefined config" the "Award filters" tab is frozen. Not sure if that is normal behavior.
One more thing ... on my main screen, the PH CW DIG matrix properly shows light blue for callsign worked. I did work D60AE on another band [shows up properly on matrix as gray W] but did not QSL that QSO. Note: just trying to show you relationships because I know your coding depends on relationships and dependencies, etc.
In closing and from my user prospective, it seems recent changes to Log4OM centered around LoTW compatibility. That is what I see from the users manual, where I find nothing about manual entry for awards recording. I am hoping that coding did not conflict or supersede some of the manual entry stuff for awards. I will stop guessing because you all are the experts ... and have been for [maybe] 20+ years a very satisfied Log4OM user.
Thanks for your help.
