Modified Bandplan Not Recognized
Modified Bandplan Not Recognized
I'm a General class operator licensed in the U.S. I modified the Bandplan file for DXCC291 to reflect the frequencies for General class license holders - e.g. the 20M CW portion is 14.025 - 14.150 and PHONE is 14.225 - 14.350. When I start Log4OM2 the Spots displayed on the right side of the Main window still show frequencies 14.000 - 14.350. What am I missing? My modified file is attached.

Re: Modified Bandplan Not Recognized
Because you named it incorrectly it should be as below
bandplan_dxcc291_user.xml
Then restart Log4OM
bandplan_dxcc291_user.xml
Then restart Log4OM

Re: Modified Bandplan Not Recognized
I thought of that after my post and renamed it, but I still see 14.000 as the lower limit to 20M. See attached.
Re: Modified Bandplan Not Recognized
Yes I did. I've attached a screen capture showing the 20M lower limit at 14.000. BTW thanks for taking the time with this.

Re: Modified Bandplan Not Recognized
I have tested this function twice now and its working fine so its something your end, have you got your region selected correctly in the Station info?
Just to ensure that you have the syntax of the file name correct try changing the lower value to 14100 and see the result after a restart
Check the syntax again perhaps you used a hyphen - instead of an underscore _

I checked the file name and made sure it was an underscore - it was. Changed the lower limit for 20M to 14.100, restarted, there was no change in the Spot View at the right side of the Main window. I've attached my station info. I think it is OK.

Re: Modified Bandplan Not Recognized
I dont know what program you used to edit the bandplan but I think that is the issue, try the attached bandplan which has your frequencies

That did the job. I used Windows Notepad for editing. What problems did you see with my XML file? I'm familiar with EMACS and VI and can use them for future editing if Notepad is a problem.
