Azimuth (short and long path) and coordinates are not the same thing...

He suggests calculating the other stations location from lat and lon instead of using imported grid
I did not answer this because he has an incorrect grid ref in Log4OM not the one retrieved from QRZ
Also seems to be using a very old version of Log4OM as there is no data or version number above File, connect etc

Sorry, I'm reading the manual but...I'm behind
in fact I hadn't noticed the grid (I didn't insert it)
I don't remember the log4om version, certainly the most recent no beta.
Now I use 2.32.1.0
