I really like the Main (F6) screen when running WSJT-X and Log4OM at the same time. In this configuration Log4OM is there mostly to take new contact logging information from WSJT-X. I have SJT set up to only send the logging information after I say OK to the entry SJT is about to send. So, I'm often switching to Recent QSO's (F7) to be sure it enters correctly.
It would be fantastic if Log4OM provided the option of a split screen between Main and Recent QSOs, perhaps with the ability to locate the horizontal split line between the two screens. I'd have most of the screen showing Main, with a few lines of the log peeking through above or below the Main screen.
Again, I'm likely asking for too much.
Thanks for all your work on this fantastic logging program!

Just what I want, but I'm trying to figure out how to detach the F7 window. I'll keep looking.

Okay, I figured out that the two overlapping rectangles at the bottom of the F7 screen mean detach the window. And, I also figured out that you squeezed the rest of the Log4OM window by taking Log4OM out of full screen mode and putting it in Windowed mode. Then I can position the two windows for the type of display needed.
Thanks for the clue on how to achieve this.

Okay, now I know View/QSO Grid also detaches the F7 window.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: What the heck - another suggestion
Unless I'm doing something wrong, it appears that the detached QSO grid settings for columns, appearance, size and position are not remembered by Log4OM when you exit. I have to set all this up again each time I open Log4OM.
However, once it's set up the way I want it, it does fulfill my desires.

Nevermind, now it is remembering those paramenters. I guess I must have exited or closed something incorrectly the first time.
