skimmer decoding capacity
Re: skimmer decoding capacity
Hi,
I have exactly the same problem as M3ECT.
Using CW Skimmer and LOG4OM in parallel (clicking on calls in CW Skimmer) leads to increasing load and reliable crash after several "QSY clicks" in CW Skimmer.
Log4om works fine, the problem has CW Skjimmer.
Anybody know a cure after almost 5 years? Google didn't help.
Good start into 2025 everybody!

Re: skimmer decoding capacity
Since my original postings, I have changed my PC. It is running Windows 11 Pro.
When I “shut down” Skimmer Server, the PC resources jump up to show around 25~30% of PC processing being used by a CW decoder. I have to force a shutdown of Skimmer Server in Task Manager, which is a pain and I keep meaning to report the issue to Alex.
