Network connection to flex 8600

Post by AB7R »

I searched and tried the instructions in the manual for setting up Log4OM cat via slicemaster. Slicemaster runs fine but no connection works to l4om. I tried creating a new TCP port for 7820....no luck.

I suggest you reach out directly to WO2X. He is one of the FRS support staff. He runs an 8600 and I believe with the same software. You can mention my name, he is a good friend.

I have tried various tcp/ip settings....no connection.
I have tried a new com port in smart cat....no connection.

All you need for CAT control on the Flex is to connect to 'Smart CAT' from Log4OM

Alternatively use a network connection via Hamlib
