Hey Terry, it's me again and I've got another problem, of course. I've been inactive for a few months but finally got back on the air. When I started up the log it wouldn't recognize the rig.
My station config is the same as before, IC-7600 on com4 and IC-9100 on com5 & 6 and log version 2.32.1. It recognized the 9100 ok but showed nothing on the 7600. I disconnected and reconnected the usb cable from the pc and got the audible confirmation on both. Then I checked the settings in control panel and it showed the correct settings for com4. I also checked the config on the 7600 and it was the same so I decided to update the software to the latest version and no luck. Any ideas? Jack

Have you actually checked the com port number in the device manager?

Have you tried re-installing the genuine Icom com port drivers with the radios disconnected, could be a windows update changed things!
