Hans,

The download

contains all three files

So when you go to your roaming/logom folder the single file has been interpreted into three xml files called Clublog.xml, cty.xml & ranking.xml

I have just done a manual update and all three files have the same date/time stamp, please check the corresponding files in your roaming/logom folder! Because the update is working OK according to your log file.

I have the same issue. US stations are ranked 11 in the DX Spots (F2) and Cluster (F9) screens. Have gone to Settings, Clublog Database, Load Clublog Database and it reports success. Have shutdown Log4OM, (actually uninstalled and installed newer version) and restarted, same rank for US of 11.

I'll look into the files.

Doug,
There was an issue at Clublog but Michael fixed it on Tuesday.

I have just done another Clublog update and the rankings are all as I would expect so I will be interested in your results

Hi Terry,

Here is my log entry for the Clublog update which I performed above:

2014-06-27 12:01:48.6797 INFO: Log4OMMainWindow: *Open IMPORT CLUBLOG FROM WEB*
2014-06-27 12:01:48.6797 INFO: FileManagement: Clublog begin download
2014-06-27 12:01:48.6797 DEBUG: FileManagement: URL https://secure.clublog.org/cty.php?api= ... ce4c6bbe0e

2014-06-27 12:01:52.5490 INFO: FileManagement: Clublog save database completed

Ok, after the above update, I have the following files/dates/times:
Clublog.xml 6/27/2014 12:01
Cty.xml 6/27/2014 12:01
Ranking.xml 6/22/2014 11:57 (note, older date)

In the Ranking .xml file it contains this element:
<MostWantedRank>
<Emission>UNDEFINED</Emission>
<Dxcc>291</Dxcc>
<Ranking>11</Ranking>
</MostWantedRank>

It seems like the Clublog Update is not updating the Ranking.xml file.

BTW, Yesterday I updated Log4OM to the newest Beta version.

Hope this make sense.

while in all the others settings it takes a while .

Doug,
Close Log4om, delete the ranking file, restart Log4om and update Clublog

Report what happens please

I've just now done a manual update, and the results are the same. ranking.xml is NOT updated

As with W7DRM, the timestamps of clublog.xml and cty.xml are fresh and identical, but the time stamp of ranking.xml is from several days back.

I am running version 1.17.1.0.

(As I mentioned earlier, I can get a ranking.xml update if I delete the existing version)

Terry,

I closed Log4OM, renamed the Ranking.xml file, then reopened Log4OM and as expected, a new Ranking.xml file was created with current date/time, and the cluster window now shows USA as Rank 340. This is the same behavior as reported by Hans.

But shouldn't the Clublog update renew the Ranking.xml file automatically? Seems like there is a bug in the update process.

Thanks,

Doug

Well I think that we need Daniele's input on this, because I cannot understand what's happening.

The only reason that I can think of is that perhaps if there is no change to "Rankings" in the Clublog download file then perhaps the ranking.xml file is not updated but I don't know if that is what happens - Daniele please comment

Meanwhile my test spotting showing rank 340 for the USA ..... I´ve done nothing, only updated Clublog via L4O menu ... I´ve not deleted the ranking.xml ... However, it works here :!: :!:

Using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit here :!:
