but i'm having trouble understanding how it works

1) If I don't select the SQLite file in Log4OM how will the QSO be saved in this SQLite file?

according to all your answers that you kindly gave, I will try to make a synoptic of the connections
but here I admit that I do not understand how the QSO will be recorded in Log4OM
Think how a QSO would be saved in Log4OM if you only used JTDX (NO JTALERT) it is done via the UDP connection - Yes?

You proved that with your friends setup using my earlier screenshots!

Now you also run JTAlert, why do you want to also send the same QSO from JTALert that JTDX has been doing direct?

The only difference is that JTAlert saves directly to the SQLite file without passing through the Log4OM checks and updates that occure when a QSO arrives via UDP

Hi,

I've just upgraded to version 2.32.1.0 and am trying to save a new UDP Inbound connection. There is no save button in the window bottom right!! So I can't save the new connection, see screenshot. The window can't be resized either ...
