I also had a very slow working log4om V2 and version 2.10 was a real catastrophy! So I started digging around and came across your topic. I did a clean install of log4om V2 and omni-rig and I applied your last posted omni-rig settings and what a revelation, log4om V2 is finally working at an acceptable speed.

Same issue here on my ftdx101 it happens always during the time from data lookup, so have put back 2.9 version
