PSTRotator

Post by F6FLU »

Hello

I can't use PSTRotator in "automatic" mode, if I enter a call in Log4OM I would like to turn my antenna towards this call, I tried to click on the "azimuth" field at the top from the input screen but nothing happens, if I type the call in PSKRotator, the rotor turns well to position itself in the right direction
I think we need to configure something
but obviously Log4OM does not pass the call to PSTRotator

of course in Log4OM I have correctly configured the UDP OUTBOUND # 12040 port but I think that it is in PSTRotator that it is necessary to modify in the settings
would you have some details for me on the subject?

Thanks and 73

Hi Dan,

I am not at home now to describe in detail what I have.
But two things to remember:
1- You need to inform PSTrotator what log you are using
2 - In Pstrotator you need selecet "Tracking" ( main window)
You always need to click in Azimuth field in Log4om to send the command to PSTrotator.

I have it working fine and also my remote antenna swicth via PSTrotator.

Hope it can help.
Have a nice day.

But if I write a call into Log4OM and click on Azimut Field nothing is happening ...

Hello
I found the problem;

obviously there was a blank character in the port number.
Is there no verification that this port number is numeric?
Thanks to everyone who tried to help me

I have the same problem for the last few months, running always latest versions of Log4OM (v2) & PstRotatorAz.
Portnumber 12040 in both programmes, PstRotatorAz works O.K. when selecting a beaming, but nothing happens when clicking 'Azimuth' (e.g. showing 156 deg.) and the beam/rotator is pointing e.g. 188 deg.

I hope someone can help to get this working again...
