Incorrect country displayed

Post by ei9ky »

I'm entering the callsign A60EXPO/2, a UAE special event callsign, and it correctly displays UAE as the country until I type in the /2 suffix. This changes the country to Botsawana. It seems that adding a number suffix changes the country. Actually adding a valid country suffix also changes the country. Is this correct?

A60EXPO = Bahrain
A60EXPO/2 = Botswana
A60EXPO/EI = Ireland
A60EXPO/2/A6 = Bahrain

And, my tests this morning seem to show them all resolving to UAE properly.

Juergen,

I was using V2.18.0.0 and just updated to V2.18.1.0 to verify and the A60EXPO/2 is resolving correctly for me.

Likely due to my Info Provider settings. See screen clip below.

Juergen,

Just did some more testing. I disable my QRZ external search and made HAMQTH as prime for external Info Provider.

Then I get the "non-UAE" countries.

Information at HAMQTH is not updated it appears.

That could be possible. I have clublog in my provider settings and in thise case my settings
are different from yours. Will give it a try in the next days. Tomorrow the QRL starting again ... ;) ;)

By the way, i don´t have QRZ active, only HamQTH. I´m not a QRZ subscriber ... ;) ;)

Juergen,

I just tested again with QRZ and HAMQTH "disabled" and having Clublog active.

I did NOT get the UAE.

Maybe only QRZ is correct with this one ??? :?:
