You did not confirm if the Omnirig version was for 2 or 4 radios
I find VPN really slows the connection and often refreshes, tried Nord and Express VPN

I don't have WSJTX running, I have with another rig sometime ago but not with this one. I did deselect the incoming UDP message from WSJTX this afternoon but Log4om still lost CAT
V1.2 of Omnirig has just Rig 1 in use only one radio connected.. Rig 2 has rig type set to none.
I normally have VE&CC's CCuser running bit it wasn't when I sent the log extract.

Have you tried it with both your firewall and ALL antivirus software turned off

I just had a thought!
You did install the genuine Yaesu com port drivers before connecting the radio to the PC didnt you? you know the standard windows drivers should not be used as detailed in the yaesu user guide.

Just tried it with anti-virus, Firewall & VPN off and it dropped out after about 6 or 7 mins.

Do you have another radio you could try?
Have you got another PC to try?
Did you try a factory reset of the radio?
I think you said you had tried another USB cable?
Something odd as I have left my IC7100 running with Log4OM all day to test and not a glitch!

Yes very strange as I have said I have been using it for a good few years without a clitch.
I have used other radios without a problem
I will try another pc and get back to you maybe in a day or 2.
