LOTW error when Log4OM is set to Admin Priviledge

Post by k4em »

I setup Log4OMv2, Omnirig, WSJT, JTAlert (all the latest versions) to all have Admin Privilege's. I have it configured and working with my Anan 7000DLE MK II SDR radio. So after a few days of learning Log4OM I uploaded my QSO's to LOTW, I received a TQSL error stating I couldn't run it with Admin Privilege's. I removed the Admin Privilege's from Log4OM and it Uploaded fine with no issues, next morning I completed the LOTW Download with no issues. TQSL is NOT set with Admin Privilege's as stated on the LOTW site.

Is there something I over looked? I reviewed the Forum and found no info on this problem I also reviewed the 8/2/2020 manual.
Thanks,
Dave

No only programs sharing Omnirig for CAT control need to be run as an administrator to permit multithreading of the data for the com port

Here is the error I receive when I upload my logs to LOTW. Turning off Administrator Privilege's I do not get this error.
It is asking to choose one. My question, is it OK to chose the last selection 'Always allow running as Administrator'?

Personally I would exit and reset the run as administrator settings in Properties but its your choice
