Re: Unconfirmed filter

I still dont see how this will work.

I am not trying to filter out just unconfirmed QSOs on just DX countries. I just want the short list of "Needed" country QSOs.

This should be 34 countacts out of 10,224 QSOs.

And I do not understand References and My References. What is different.

The sort order is hard to follow too.
That view is award REFERENCES so selecting DXCC 291 displays only DXCC contacts with America

My References refers to your own operation perhaps on an IOTA island or up a mountain operating as SOTA so like EU-123 or G/SE-045

OK so back to the beginning :)

There is no way to filter needed countries that have not confirmed via LOTW ?

So is that DXCC numbering jacked up or is that how it is always going to be? That sort order is confusing.

Rich,

Here is another approach. if you want a visual clue to needed confirmations, go to Award Statistics, select DXCC, and look for worked (W) and not confirmed QSL's. i.e. look for any countries with only a W cell.

Thank you Doug,
kd0zv wrote: 20 Feb 2020, 13:26 I did later figure out I could see the "W" stations just as easy in Log4OM but still was a manual process
That was the method that I later figured out :) Which is basically the same thing I did in QRZ to get my list of 34.

Would be nice if Log4OM had a filter to do this. Would have to filter the LOTW unconfirmed against the needed new ones.

It was still a lot of work to go figure out their LOTW status, etc but certain would be nice if LOTW could help with QSOs that are important.

Rich,

Yes, I know what you mean. As far as I know, there is no report that would give you a list of worked, but unconfirmed countries. Or Worked but unconfirmed Band/Countries. That might be something to add to the feature request section.

I basically use the Award Statistics view I posted above, click on each W cell to get the QSO info, then proceed to figure out how I can confirm them.

Hope that helps.

Boy this is one request I've wanted for a long time. A way to get a report of my countries needed for DXCC. There HAS to be a filter for it. Look at the Statistics window. Right there on the Country Statistics is the data displayed in a graphical tree form.

All those DXCC entities marked Red - those are them. If I could only get a text report out of this screen I'd have what I want. (I could tack that paper up in my office and when I see Andarman & Nicobar Is. pop up on the cluster, tell the boss I've suddenly caught the flu and need to go home!)
